Supporting Innovative HIV/AIDS Research Since 1995
The Campbell Foundation has been a part of helping to discover better treatments for people with HIV, as well as funding research into a cure for HIV, since its creation by the late Richard Campbell Zahn in 1986.
It was Mr. Zahn's wish that his private, independent foundation support nonprofit organizations conducting clinical, laboratory-based research into the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, and related conditions and illnesses.
Since 1995, the foundation's first year of substantial funding, The Campbell Foundation has focused on funding alternative, nontraditional avenues of research that will have direct clinical impact/relevancy to the HIV care/research community within five to seven years.
Our board of directors remain dedicated to pursuing Mr. Zahn's original goals.
